Description

saffron is obtained from the flower which is well known as “Crocus Sativus”. Based on the quality, Saffron is presently sold are of two type selected quality and the unselected quality. Selected quality also known as MONGRA, that we have elaborated in Kashmiri Mogra Saffron. The unselected quality is generally known as LACHCHA.

Lachcha Saffron is also one of the grades of Kashmiri Saffron. The long and flat dark red threads that contain some yellow filaments besides the stigmas and floral wastes which we find are known as Lachcha.
